Who is Dr. Jagatjit Dhillon?

Hi I’m Dr. Jagatjit Dhillon and I’m a general dentist at Dental Now Panorama.
I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and as a child I had various dental problems which made my personal visits to the dentist very frequent. Since then, I decided that I wanted to help people show off their natural smile. So naturally, I decided to go into dentistry myself. Afterwards, I received my degree in Dentistry in 2002 from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Since then, I have been practicing Dentistry in NW Calgary and area.
Dentistry is my passion. As a result, I love talking about dentistry with almost everyone I meet both at work and outside of work. In particular, I am very fond of orthodontics including Invisalign, Braces, and Myobrace. As well, I really enjoy treating people for snoring and sleep apnea and I love completing cosmetic procedures; particularly conservative cosmetic procedures such as composite bonding as well as teeth whitening. These treatments can really transform my patients’ smiles. Every day, I am blown away by how dentistry can have such a big impact on my patient’s well-being, their appearance, and their self-confidence.

Passion for Orthodontics
Invisalign and Braces for over 20 Years
During my years at dental school at the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan, I was exposed to how treatment through orthodontics is completed. I was in awe when my professors showed how orthodontics could be life-changing to their patients. After that, my passion for orthodontics started to truly develop.
While I enjoy the field of orthodontics, I really love being able to provide this service as a General Dentist. It allows me to more thoroughly care for my patients by making sure their gum and teeth health are optimal during treatment. Also, it allows me to better coordinate cosmetic procedures (cosmetic fillings and/or veneers) with the orthodontics so the end result is as beautiful as possible.
The key to delivering the best care possible is to pursue continuing education. As a result, there are a many educational experiences that have molded my philosophy for conservative, caring dentistry. In addition, I have attended courses where I have learned the latest techniques in a variety of dental aspects such as implant placement, orthodontics and endodontics.
